About Me
I'm Emma Rollins (pronounced "Collins" but with an "R"), a twenty-something artist from Ontario, Canada. I knew from a young age that the only thing I ever wanted to do in life is make things. It's my dream to prove to everyone that they can be an artist, too. (Seriously - anyone can do it!)
In 2019, I enrolled in Sheridan College's Bachelor of Illustration program, and graduated with my degree in 2023. I love to create whimsical artwork depicting my favourite things - nature, animals (especially birds & dogs!), the season of autumn, Halloween, pumpkins, ghosts, and maybe the occasional slice of desert here or there. I believe that all art is political and we must use our voices and privilege to bring attention to the things that matter.
I primarily illustrate with Procreate on my iPad, but I am definitely no stranger to acrylic paints. My body of work includes graphics for websites & blogs, posters for contests & concerts, picture books, and about a million and a half pet portraits (no, really!) in various mediums. I am currently working on a tattoo portfolio in hopes of finding an apprenticeship soon!
